Sorry for the sappy title. Anywho, for years I thought my first deer (lil 4pt) had been lost in my dads antler bin forever but we found it, in terrible shape. My dad used it as practice on a felt plaque mount and apparently he tried a couple times cause the burrs of the antlers are covered in red and green felt. He also broke the skull plate in two. So is there someone here that has a foolproof method to make my first deer look nice again? Or a taxidermist in Indy that can fix it, I really dont care bout the money. I just want something presentable to hang on the wall. I have it rigged up with some dumb walmart poverty plaque but it looks terrible. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks.

I would think just about any decent taxidermist could help you out on saving your trophy. You are right, the first one is very special....
