Have u been hunting rivers or lakes? Ive been hunting a slough off and on but havnt seen much at all. Its a big slough off white river. I figured it would get a lot better after this weather.

Hope I didn't miss out, while pushing snow and ice for the past 3 days. Going in the morning with hopes of seeing some birds.

Scratched out 5 on the lake the other day with a couple buddies. Teal, widgeon, mallard, an a Wood duck, couldn't believe it.

Birds are here in the south-central part of state. 5 mallards and buddy had a double on Pintails Sunday evening when I couldn't make it. Needless to say he went to the taxidermist on Monday morning...best day in a long while.
