Well,, its time fer another count down.. Them crazy deer hunters have taken the spot-light from us... But its gonna be time again real soon.... How many are gonna hit the North Zone opener??

Me too - I'm leaving for Canada Friday morning - Art just talked to the outfitter - they are limiting out on ducks every day and the Snows are arriving in the southern praries ;D

Taking the kid out to the KKK and if that don't work out i have a farm about 3 miles to the west of it i can hunt.
I'm on vacation the week of the 15th and plan on be out all i can.

Yup.. startin with the kids this weekend and definately gonna try to keep track of the birds for our opener. maybe even some honkers in the evenings

My brother passed away in '03. We used to go up to Tri-County on the NZ opener. I'm going up there, drink coffee, smoke a nice Montecristo Churchill, go down to Barrel 1/2 and drink in all the great memories.  |

There are no ducks in the NZ, its to D*#n Hot so they all went up to MI. ;D

smoke a nice Montecristo Churchill, I was thinking more of a fuente, maduro, a long lasting one. With this weather I will need it to keep the mosquitoes at bay. |

If you don't like the season then don't hunt these 9 days. I prefer the later dates but oh well, it's still the same to me.
