I'm sure they will sell quite a few of those. Looks like a simple way to get a ladder hooked to the tree without ever leaving the ground.

This looks great, but the tubing that was on the one he was using wouldn't even get close to touching on the trees that I have my ladder stands on. I had to go out and buy 8' ratchet straps to be able to get around them. The 6' one didn't make it. Yes, I like my tree and stand to be still most of the time that I am in it.

That cable idea is good until the cable gets a kink in it, then it doesn't push up through the tube. I like the double strap method of securing the stand until I can get up there to lock on some ratchet straps.
