Well, I'm pleasantly surprised to see that you fellas like it. The colors are a little soft even for me, and that's not the frame that I'd put on it. I'll change a few things before I print it. What I want to do is make art of my buck harvest and put it over my fireplace and put the mount in another spot. Personally, I think every hunter should have a painting of their first or favorite harvest ...and I could do it for them.
I developed an appreciation for art in my 20s, but have no artistic talent at all. Many of my photography friends would argue this point, but this is exactly how I see it.
The deeper we get into a sport or hobby, we learn what good and real talent is. It's like the smarter we are the dumber we think we were. LOL!!! I truly believe that I do not have an ounce of artistic talent. I only know what I like and sometimes remember how I did it. LOL
I was looking for some hunting artwork for my office, but it was expensive! The only digital hunting file that I had was the one my daughter took. Now, I really don't want to buy the art; I just want the file. This way I can put the colors that I want in it.
I've sold art and still do, but I have no business sense. One has to sell lots of prints of the same item to actually pay for the time. However, I just enjoy doing it even though I could make more money/hr working at McDonalds. It just takes so long to make it the way I want.
I'd be happy to make some for you fellas; however, the file that I need would have to be relatively large. Cell phone and trail cam photos are small. I can work with a small file, but it wouldn't make a very big print.
