If i've read correctly, the confirmation number is supposed to be written on the trasnportation tag. Generally the transportation tag is a bloody nasty mess by the time you get it home from the field. Not something i would think anyone would want sitting around. Would it be legal to have it written on the back of your hunting license, along with the kill information?
