That really SUCKS, sorry to hear this. I hope you recover your guns. My cousin had his truck broken into at a Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot this week, middle of the day and he was parked up front by the store. They took a brand new gun he just bought. Dick's doesn't have video cams and I think the thieves took advantage of this.

Very sorry to hear that. Watch the pawn stores and internet classifieds. A buddy of mine tracked down one of his this way. If you think its yours. Go look at it (play it cool. Even if you want to choke the person) and if its yours tell them you will get back with them. Go straight out and call the law. Worked for him. Good luck.

That stinks. One thing i don't do is put stickers on my car like deer or something because I think it just advertises that you might have hunting equipment in your car. Of course, my deer carrier on the back might also.

This makes me sick, these people take things we work so hard for and things that have been passed down to us. I just don't understand some people. I hope you find them john.

Hmm...usually when people get stuff stolen from them its someone they know. This certain someone usually knows your schedule. They usually feel comfortable enough to break into your house because they know you and know ypur schedule. If all that was taken was your guns then this person 99.99% knows you. They knew exactly what they wanted before they entered the home and they knew exactly where these guns were kept. Start thinking hard about who you know. This someone could even be close family. I wish you luck in finding out who did this and I hope you recover your guns. Its a shame that people can't have any respect for one another anymore ..good luck

Most likely some meth heads. You should look into a home security system and have it monitored.

Possible Gun theft is why I bought a gun safe a couple years back. My glass fronted gun cabinet was not much of a deterrent.

Agreed...Armslist, craigslist, ebay, pawn shops..any thing you can possibly think of. Most people don't steal for personal use, its usually to try and make some profit. Good luck

Guns were in my safe, they pried/jacked the door open... yes we believe it is someone we know, well my son knows... he was out in front of our house when my wife left. she felt suspicious of the guy but had to get to work. Glad she did not try to come back and maybe interrupt them, she means more to me then any gun or material item. If the police can lift a finger print from this suspect we got him, he is only 17 and been arrested/questioned about 6 other robberies... funny where is the parents ? my son would be dead if he got arrested twice.. he'd get a severe beating after the first, the second he would be gone.. my Dad and Mom worked that way, that is how I roll too.. sadly but it worked on my family, none of us are thieves Ok, maybe killing my boy is overboard LOL.. but he would have a hard time wiping his rear end with broken hands and sore rear end. I had everything from my childhood lost in a tragic house fire in 1974.. first BB/Pellet gun ect... all was gone. so passing down a gun is very important to me... I try to be a good person, honest, sincere, loyal and I know bad things happen to good people all the time. Just senseless....

Sorry for the loss.Hope they can be recovered. People need to understand, when you see someone suspicious in your neighborhood, call the police to check it out. Some people will say, I don't want to waist the police dept time on something like that. I call every time I see someone out of place. A couple years back, as I was leaving for work, I saw I guy sitting in a car at the end of the block. I had never seen it before, so I called 911. EPD came out to investigate and the guy in the car had previous theft charges and an outstanding warrant.Call! That's what they are there for. Time to get a safe that can't be pried open that easily and surveillance camera!

I hope you get the people who did this.. That is just HORRIBLE. I've had my house broken into and besides the missing items, you just feel violated... Prayers that justice gets served and you recover these items back...
