Pigeon, I'm starting to feel sorry for you; it seems like you're talking to yourself. I must say that you don't seem to lose your resolve very easily.
Where is Kingsbury? Do we really have public land in Indiana with upland birds?

Pigeon, I'm starting to feel sorry for you; it seems like you're talking to yourself. I must say that you don't seem to lose your resolve very easily. Where is Kingsbury? Do we really have public land in Indiana with upland birds? You don't have to feel sorry fer me,, I do a good enough job of that myself!! Really though,, I have been on this board fer 7 years er so. I have met more fellas off the boards than I have fingers and toes. My PM box always is ringin. I do know the way things work on here!! Some fellas are just better than others and some just cant take it!!! Sometimes I get outta hand by rubbin in it and some fellas get offended,, it happens. But when it comes down to it,, when I put out a feeler for inviting people along,, my PM box will ring. Just because I do guide,, I still share with a lot of the fellas on here that don't have as much opportunity as I have. I could name quite a few on here that have been in my boat. I have a lot of silent friends!! Yes,, we have public land with wild pheasant and quail on them. They are tough to narrow down,, but there is birds to be had!! If ya got some gas money to spare,, I can show you a spot er two. Kingsbury has been my home away from home fer over 20 years,, so I do know my way around them parts. Actually since we would be taking my fat and stankin dog,, ya might have to donate some dog chow and dog biscuits along with gas!!

We hunted the Geswein GBA (80 acres) in Benton County for roughly 5 hours. We saw 3 hens over the whole day. We flushed up 2 roosters at the same time less than 100 yards from truck after hunting the property for several hours. Needless to say, we weren't expecting anything at this point so no birds were bagged. Not many signs of birds on the property either. We saw more deer than birds including a nice 6-8 pointer we rousted off his bedding area in the tall grass. A bad day in the field still beats a good day at work!
