Came back from a partridge shoot with a group a mates in the Midlands we had a great time as usual We buy a small day of driven partridge shooting followed by lunch afterwards. The shooting was good we ended up with 121 birds for ten of us, more than enough. I shot reasonably well considering i had a head cold coming on i shot better that one bird for two shells so i was happy with that, i was using a little Alex Martin twenty bore ejector side by side a lovely little Scottish gun.
AND unfortunately i have to do it all over again, lol, in four weeks time this time for pheasants i will use a nice Scottish 16bore side by side i have i also like that gun and hope to shoot equally as well, (maybe's lol) regards Billy

I like the way you talk!! To bad you cant hear my accent as I type this, I hope you understand my joke there,, but since that's from a American movie you probably don't,,, so let me tell you I am just poking fun!! You need to share some pics of these birds with us. We don't get to see them kinds over here. Always glad to read your posts Billy,, glad you share your stories with us!! I am just curious as to how you found this site since your so far away from us.

greetings Not a problem after the next trip if any partridge are in the bag i will try to get them and take a photo before they end up in our oven, lol i will also put a photo of this 20 b0re on as well I found hunting Indiana as i just like hearing hunting stories from all over the place and i got interested in trying bow hunting which is banned over here, the bow hunting has had to go due to a bad back but i do like reading the stories and seeing the pictures. You would struggle with my accent, they do in the midlands but then they sound funny to me, hehe Had a lot of rain here i was ducking last night but the ducks did not come to play i think they will be on the flood water in the fields eating snails etc. we ended up with one teal. regards Billy
