Here is the same boar last summer. The broken back leg is the identifier. Notice the difference in summer coat vs. winter coat.

He had some nice cutters, but those on there now are fake and a little bigger than his real ones. Once the gums are gone, the tusks are hollow inside and very brittle, so most taxidermists use fake teeth on them.

Just in time for HALLOWEEN. My 2 young daughters were scared to death of him at first.. They got over it pretty quick though. I've been thinking of ways to scare people with it

Looks good! Do you still see very many of them around? I work with guys who have killed a few dozen of them over the years, but I don't think they've seen any for quite some time. One guy at work did say that he saw one back behind the landfill along the river recently, but that's the only one I've heard of.

If the properties I hunt are planted in beans, I don't see any hogs or much sign. If it's in corn, it's usually a pretty good year. It's pretty easy to tell if hogs are using an area; just one hog will leave a lot of destruction behind on creek banks, field edges, etc.

Awesome!!! They did a great job of hiding that ear tag. LOL I know this can't be politically correct.
Congratulations Wyatt.
