Got a call late Mon. evening from a friend of mine, said he had a good field scouted out and would I like to go with him on Tues. morning? Sure would!! 
I didn't know what to expect, maybe we'll at least get to shoot at a family group or something and get a few a piece..... Well, it was an awesome hunt again!! We could have almost shot another 40 bird limit on this one!! The geese wanted in there bad!! He thought he had been seeing about 30-40 geese going into it, well we had at least 200-300 going in, we banged out a limit for the 2 of us, lickity-split!! ;D Started out of the gate with a triple for both of us!! Actually one of my shots took out 2 geese at the same time, then we had a pair come in and get wacked, then another group of 20 or so dropped in and we knocked out our limit each. We had a ton of birds still coming so we just sat it out for a while and let them work and then we got out of Dodge as soon as we could without spooking too many more. Of course we had to take some photos in the field! The bad thing is that with just the 2 of us, I didn't worry with bringing the video camera, WRONG!!! I could have filmed his limit and let him try filming mine!! Anyway, we're going to go out again Wed. morning and Paul is coming along and we'll film it this time! Hopefully 3 limits tomorrow! What a great weekend! Here's some pics of the morning.
