Had to take off of work today to go to the doc for this sinus infection, while sitting on the couch I heard geese and they were getting close. Looked out the front window and all I seen were feet and wings locked down. Went out on the patio and watch about 40 geese touch down behind the house. Naturally I cant shoot them back there, but they are fun to watch and learn their habits.

Man, that sinus really has you bad this time. I know that it can be painful ...almost as painful as seeing geese and not being able to shoot.
I was in the woods yesterday. At about 7pm, I was in my blind just watching to see if anything walked by when I heard some shooting, so I thought, "Maybe, I can get in on some of that." I went out in the field and rested up against some round hay bales. I heard about 20 shots in 3-4 bursts at a time, but never saw anything or heard any animal. They must have been shooting doves, but I didn't see any.
I was really hoping a goose would fly over at the very end of early season, but no. I don't believe in luck, but if I did, I wouldn't have any good luck. I'm about the unluckiest person that I know.
