They better hurry for the early season but if u get a field close to some birds it could get ugly!!!

Know a farmer who has about 340 acres of corn out already...but nothing the birds are coming to. Luckily have some hayfields that the geese are using on a regular schedule.

I am on the prowl. I'd love to find just one good ambush site. I'd be happy with one goose for my first early goose season

The only thing I can find anywhere around me is hay. And that's all the geese are using that I can find. I did finally see 1 field being cut for silage yesterday,, but not enough cut yet to make a difference!! Everything is just way late this year.

I was drooling over that pic,, as that's not even silage,, look how much stuff is on the ground to brush in the blinds with. Man that would be so easy to hide in it should almost be illegal  hem geese would never know what just freight trained em Mmm Mmm GOOD!!! |

We actually hunted a different field than the one i posted earlier. It was another field that was out early...the only one open between 3 large water sources! There's 9 in the pictures, me and another guy hunted and almost had our limit...one we knocked out his landing gears but never could recover. Birds were everywhere!   |

Thanks! I've reported them but received an e-mail stating there's no information currently available for them but they were working on solving the issue. It's actually the first banded birds I've ever shot so needless to say I'm a little anxious to get the info!
