With the introduction of the youth turkey hunt, youth deer hunt and youth dove hunt at some state hunting areas then why isn't there a youth waterfowl hunt? Your opinions. h.h.

Actually there is. Oct. 13th and 14th is designated youth waterfowl. We are actually going out to film a youth waterfowl hunt on that weekend near Greensburg.

We have a location 300 yards from the water at Santee. Depending on the activity of the birds the week leading up to the hunt we might go there. We have about 1800 acres of water, corn, and clover to choose from this year. We lost 1200 acres to the Honda project last year, but we seem to get by with what we have left.
