I have heard of them, never had them. Basically boiled potatoes, but before you put the potatoes in the water, you add salt to the water and stir, keep adding salt until it will no longer dissolve, then add the potatoes and cook as you normally would. Serve with butter or whatever. People say they are good.

So you just cook them in a brine basically. Why have I never thought to do that before?
