I've never waterfowled and obviously don't know that much about them but on the way home yesterday I was passing one of our local resident geese populations and just happened to see what I thought was a Canada goose but it had an orange bill. Do Canada's and Trumpeter's interbreed? That is the only thing I could think of right away or is there another species that my limited knowledge is unaware of?

Probably just a half breed from a farm goose and a canadien. We shot a lot a few years ago and they had orange beaks and orange feet.
