Today i was on Bass Pro Shops Web page . I was looking at Bigfoot goose decoys , they had Bull , Standard , Feeders i believe ( they are in a set of 4 ) . I was thinking on buying 2 sets of each ( not at once ) which would equal 24 decoys . should i get 2 of each ( they are for the ground not water ) ? so that would equal 8 Bulls , 8 Standards and 8 Feeders . any help would be appreciated .

Doesn't really matter but I've always been biased towards feeders so I would go heavy there and get 1 set of either bull or standard. If it were my money I'd pass on the foots and go with real geese silos.

Unless your one of them wanna be PRO guys that has a signature line bigger than your post,, then you can go with good ol' DSD's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always love the fellars that have those kinda signatures!!
I probably should be more pacific,, DSD stands for Dave Smith Decoys. They run from 600-1200 per dozen!! They sure do look sweet,, but man I would hate to even take them outside for that price!!!

I own 3 Bigfoot fb decoys that i bought when gander mountain opened up in merriville Indiana . now can i go fb and silos ? mix lets say 12 fb and 12+ silos ?? I've done pass shooting on geese with no luck , so now i want to try other methods . I'm not a wanna be pro , just an avg. Joe , well in my case Jeff ( lol ) .

Right on average jeff!! I use bigfoots myself and would not give them up for nuttin!! In my opinion, which taint worth much,, they are your best bang for your buck. They can take a lickin and keep on tickin!!!As long as you take reasonable care of them,, they will last for a while!!

I just started working last oct 2012 , from a 2 year layoff and took a $8.00 an hour pay cut ( 19.00 down to 11.00 ) , so money is on a budget . so i need to buy stuff a little at a time . so if i save up $600 that will give me enough for 12 decoys . plus the 3 that i already have will give me 15 decoys .

Moss, if I had some, I'd sure let you use them. I need some. My brother-in-law says he has 8 dozen. I'll try to buy a dozen from him.

I'd buy used foots. But yes you can mix your spread. Don't forget shells. Lots of birds have died due to spreads of shell decoys. I have switched from fb to silos but keep 12 foots to cover the blinds better. I picked up 10 doz real geese for 400. Let me tell you that creats a very realistic spread fast and i can carry most by myself in 1 trip
