Coming soon.. details on the Hunting Indiana 1st Annual Youth Waterfowl ”Contest”. This will take place on the Youth Duck weekend.. DUCKMASTER1 ( www.fergusoncustomcalls.com/ ) has already donated one of his great calls to the contest.

Always up to help the youth, I'd like to donate a "call kit" to the youth as well, a poly Buck Gardner Call with a Straight Talk instructional CD, a 3" decal, written calling instructions, and I'll put a H.I.T. SQUAD gun barrel decal in also. What is the contest all about? And ultimately my biggest question is.... Does John911 qualify for this event?!!! ;D ;D He nothing but a big kid!

Not sure on the "rules" of the "contest" yet and I am certainly open to suggestions.
We might just use the photo format like in the "big boys" waterfowl "contest".

I like the idea of having them write a short story about their hunt and who took them, and how they did, etc., and also post a pic with it. How does that sound?

as ateacher, if you'd like I can copy the stories, clean them up a bit and submit them to the raghorn....
anyonoe in the north east corner know a kid or two who wants to hunt- get intouch with me. I'm a he instructor, and my hunting buddy and I take quite a few kids with us. My son is a freshman and usually comes with us.

When we get the winner we can ask them if that is OK to publish their story.. I'll run that by Raghorn and see if they are interested.
