After reading the regs. I am a little confused. My question is can they be used in a lake or reservoir? If I am interpreting the regs. correctly you can as long as they are not set within 300 yards of a dam on the down stream side? Thank you for your time as it is appreciated..

Trot lines and limb lines may be used on a lake or reservoir as long as they are not within 300 yards of a dam. All other regulations pertaining to trot lines and limb lines apply. Float lines can NOT be used in a lake or reservoir.
