Hello,

I'm new to hunting and want to be safe and legal. I'm planning to waterfowl hunt this next season. I printed off photos of every bird listed on the DNR site to help me learn what I'm shooting at ...before I shoot. To me the light goose and snow goose looks a lot alike. Is there a difference?

Light Goose is a classification that includes the Snow Goose, Blue Goose and the Ross Goose. All snow geese are a light goose but not all light geese are snow geese because they may be either a Blue or a Ross goose. I hope that all makes sense but I am having trouble with the wording.
