I don't think they have any open hunting for waterfowl 1John5:13. Unless that is a new rule. You draw for two days at a time, except on Wednesdays. So you'd draw say Saturday AM, and then you're able to hunt the spot you pick for Saturday and Sunday. Below are the days it works....
Monday & Tuesday - Draw on Monday at like 5:30AM. Hunt all day Monday & Half day Tuesday (1/2 hour before sunrise to 12)
Wednesday - Afternoon Hunt, Draw at 11:00AM Hunt until sunset
Thursday & Friday - Draw on Thursday at too early AM Hunt all day Thursday & Half day Friday.
Saturday & Sunday - Draw on Saturday AM Hunt all day Saturday & Half day on Sunday
Correct me if I'm wrong Goose Ponders. I wish Sunday was an 11am draw and evening hunt.

Oh, well this explains why I didn't see anything listed on some of the days. This must be an awesome place. I really appreciate the information. I wouldn't know what I was doing or where to go anyway. Being two hours away really makes it difficult to take a chance on a draw. Any idea what percentage of the hunter pool gets to hunt on a week day draw?
I have plenty of equipment ...new in the box. I may have to sell it and just hunt fields for geese.
Thank you again for all your information!

I talked more about this in the other thread, but I drive 1.5 hours once a week to go to GP on an average week, and when it's good I go twice a week. I've never been turned away in 7 years. Granted I hunt a lot of week days.
