Yesterday I was paid a visit by the local agent who oversees WRP properties and this year she was accompanied by a State of Indiana biologist.
I was advised that starting this year people who own WRP properties will need to request permission in writing for any and all things you wish to do to your property that includes burning,mowing,cutting,weed control ect.
You can sit down with them and draw up a plan that when approved will be in place for 10 years unless it needs to be modified.
It is also my understanding that you might be able to obtain some financial assistance with invasive vegetation control.
