This was taken on the farm we hunt turkeys on. They only went out shed hunting twice this year and these are just the big ones they picked up. One grossed over 170. Needless to say they are just sick.

Unfortunately I know a kid that went shed hunting earlier this year and found 12 different dead bucks in one day. The sad part is that it was right here in north central indiana. there was a pocket around this area that was hit extreamly hard by ehd the weird thing is nobody was finding dead does. I've seen pics of no less than 50 dead bucks in about a 5 mile radius. Several were 150"+ deer. a buddy had one that was on his hitlist dead near his stand that ended up scoring close to 185". A lot of the deer died while they were still in velvet.

Dead-eye where was that area at if you don't mind me asking. it was about five miles west of logansport. mostly along the wabash. this is one of the bigger ones ive seen a pick of.

Was that area hit hard with drought in 2012.
