Ah summer is just movin right along. Time to start thinking about buying this and adding that to the arsenal. What is everyone's preference on decoys. Myself I wont buy anything but G and H for any duck spread, cant beat the realism. And for geese,, its all Bigfoot,, but I am thinking of adding some G and H fullbodies in the mix this year.
Whats everyone else using?

For geese it's Big Foot (floaters and field) and a couple Real Geese silos. For ducks it's what ever I have in the bag and a couple spinners, don't pay much attention to the ducks.

I am equal oppotunity goose decoy buyer. Big foots field and floaters, GHG shells and Full bodies.
Painted milk jugs for ducks when I feel like messing with dekes at all. I thought duck decoys were just to look at???

Mostly GHG stuff this year. We've been slowly replacing our older stuff w/ GHG.

I am thinkin they are serious about makin these spinners illegal. And that is really gonna suck,,,, cause I am the generation that learned to hunt with spinners. So,,,, what am I gonna do..... Guess I am gonna learn to call a little better. We might get spinners again this year,, but its coming soon,, then again,, we might not........  |

G&H and Sport plast for the most part an a few odds an ends.
I herd the same thing you did about the spinners so i think this will be the last year.

i dont see a huge deal about the spinners and i dont think you guys will really when NOBODY is allowed to use them. It wont be like a guy 100 yards down from you has one and you dont. I never used one up until about 3 years ago..now we have 4. But i cant say i will be real upset if they do away with them.

Take em or leave em don't really care either. Just give a good biological reason for it, too many rules being changed already just cause so & so feels like their neighbor is not hunting the right way. Ducks, deer, varmits it don't matter
