Thanks for the gun buying tips fellas. After some shopping around I ended up making my Benelli purchase at the Indiana Gun Club. Steve knocked off $125 off the going price and tossed in a few free rounds of skeet to help get her broken in.
911 was having a redneck cookout last night, and I stopped by to knock out the factory oil from the barrel. We shot full cans of soda-pop, 'taters, and charcoal in lieu of skeet...and had quite a time doing it. It's gonna take some time for me to stop jerking the forestock as I try to pump this gun in between shots!!! I'm just not use to shooting a semi.
Anyway.... I told ya Art that I'd have one before Early Goose, now I just need to break some bills with it!

Thanks Josh and Dan! I will be giving a trick shooting demonstration today @ 4pm at the Indiana Gun Club. Be amazed by the raw prowess of my abilities, ohhh and ahhh over the various techniques that I utilize. At 430 there will be a symposium on how to properly shoot while holding a jellyfilled donut between your teeth......you wont want to miss this ladies and gentlemen!  If anyone can make it out there, Spancake and I will be slinging some lead and hopefully busting some clay! |

I've never had a better round of skeet with the new SBE than what I shot today. 22/25 for the first round I've ever shot through it isn't too shabby!!!!!!! What a sweet shooting firearm. I LOVE IT! Good shooting with ya Art and Daniel.....we'll have to get back out there in the next week or two.

Travis was definitely tearing it up with the SBE.... Good shooting on the range today... As for my 11-87, that's another story - we'll leave that to another day!

Travis was really tearing then up until we put a small $ bet on it. It just don't seem right to me throwing a pound of lead with each shot but if that's what it take to get a buck out of Travis's pocket I'll do it. I believe my goose gun is ready for season so I'll be back to the old .410 next time out.

That's right, with all the lead being blasted out of that big old 12 ga monster a shooter would have to be looking in the opposite direction to not break the bird.
