hmm... ive basically broke it down to one of these two blinds i gonna purchase here probably this week. Any opinions? I have hunted out of the finisher before and is a dang nice blind. But the x'lander seems more roomy. I have never hunted out of one just by the dimensions i belive would be nicer. I mean i am 6'3" 270lb. What your opinions of layout blinds? and yes im pretty stuck on these two. I have some Interceptors right now and they work great but the comfort not really there.. they been abused.

I really like my finisher. Hunted around X-landers but never laid in one. If room is a need for storage go with the finisher, the X-lander didn't fold up as nice IMO. But really either one will get r done.

Noble..... We're in the same 'girth-department and last year I bought the F.A. SUB and LOVE it! Plenty of room for the chocolate milk -n- donuts, along with those extra boxes of lead shot that you can hide from the C.O.. I really like how if folds down, making it a bit easier to carry it. You should take a look at one of those if you can.

The X-Landr is definitely a bigger blind, like stated before it doesn't fold up very compact though, so that's one advantage for the Finisher, I use Finishers and they work great, there's plenty of room for me and my gear, but I'm 6' 180lbs. Best thing you should do is go and lay in each one first before you buy and see what you like, both are well made blinds.

I think you should give the S.U.B. a look. I have finishers and pro guides, but when my buddies bring the S.U.B.s, they just seem nicer. I hunt out of a pro guide, lots of room in them, but they fold flat and take up lots of room when your not hunting. Take Matt's advice and try them out in a store. Picture having a gun on your shooting side and amo on the other. You will be able to keep food, coffee, and camera behind the seat.

I love my finisher but i have nothing to compare it to. Sounds like both options are good.

thanks guys.. i drove up to the coldwater Gander tonight... i was told on the phone that yes they were all on display... when i got there... guess what........... i watched him set them all up I layed in a guide series? pro guide... supposedly the same as the eliminator pro guide.... and right now i can get the eliminator pro guide for 250 at cabelas. I am very interested now in the SUB blind however as well. The dimensions on the x=lander only show 26" wide which is about 8" thinner than most others but they just look bigger... maybe less storage? I still debatin but want to order one this week but nobody has an SUB set up around my area. Only thing i bought tonight was Foiles new dvd... 3 hrs. long..... man that guys is the... ya know. Thanks guys for the advice and yes travis i will look into the SUB.... is it comfy though? some of my hunts last a while i love it out there.

Call wingsupply and find out, looks like a good buy. I have heard wing supply is a good place, I doubt they would lead you astray.

For us BIGGER guys, i would mark out the finisher, not enough shoulder room when you sit up to shoot.
I am a huge fan of the SUB and Rogerssportinggoods.com has a good price on them.

That's a great price on those, hard to beat that! Those are left over last year models is why they are cheaper. Last year's models did not come with a waterproof floor in them....Just kidding! Once you get those things, take and mix up a bucket of mud, use an old broom and paint that mud onto the whole outer surface of the blind really thick. Let it dry and then come back and lightly brush off the excess, now you'll be all good and mudded up for the upcoming season to take the sheen off the fabric. You'll probably need to do this periodically. Take your new blind and set it up and break it down several times to get familiar with it also before season. Congrats on the new blinds!

Good mudding tip Matt....... For those who like their blinds to mimic Kyle's, add 2 bottles of Red Dye, and one bottle of White Dye to the 5 gallon of soupy mud......

You don't understand teamcgo..... The dye mixture to the mud will create a beautiful pink mud, which is preferred by the Hancock County goose hunters.
