I got a little frisky with this one Travis. Its hollow cork (yup you heard right). So I thought it needed a fancy keel. The thing weighs about the same a plastic decoy. I drilled a 3/8" hole at an angle from the top of the keel in the rearward leg of the keel and poured lead in it for ballast. She will self right and floats like a dream.

Josh, You should take these to the Deer and Turkey Expo next year and put some up for sale. They are beautiful! I think you're getting better and better on them. Keep the pictures coming, I love looking at them!

Josh, A 10'x10' booth, which is the minimum, is $500 for the weekend event, Friday-Sun., and $550 for a corner booth, still 10'x10'. I can't remember the costs of the other sizes. I will let you know that we are going to be doing a booth again next year, and sharing it with a couple of guide services, and we are looking at getting a double booth, so 10'x20'. I'm not 100% certain on anything right now, but if we have room, you are more than welcome to share in the space with us and it would help with the costs. That's a ways out, but something to think about till then.

My biggest problem is having enough "stock" to spread out. My stuff is typically sold before I ever cut it out. I need to plan ahead and have a few to sell, and several more just for show. It would be more taking orders than anything else.
We'll have to talk about when it gets closer.

She's a beaut JW.... the keel looks unlike any I've seen....very cool design. It almost looks like it would function as a handle as well as the uprighting purposes. Homerun again!
