One of our local birds! Saw him while driving down the road. I only had my little camera with me, so this is the best I could get. I'm going to go back and see if I can't see him again sometime with my good camera and telephoto lens.

That would be a true trophy. Several years ago we were hunting in a heavy snow fall. We had a good size flock come in and after I unloaded my gun, I seen a goose that was all white except it's bill and feet. Six shooters and only two of us seen it because of the snow falling.

One of the local flocks I used to chase had an all white canada goose with them too. Never got a real close look at it but it had the lean body of a canada compaired to a typical barnyard goose. Wanted him pretty bad but never worked out. Now in the park there were several mixed canada/barnyard geese with a wide variation of patterns. Figured one of them would be cool to wack, but never hunted close enough to the park to have a real shot.
