Deck-envy! Women think they can control us by making threats to our decks. When my wife makes threats like that I just tell her she can keep her kitty away from my deck, cause if she's gonna be mean to my deck, than I'm gonna be mean to her kitten!!!

My wife keeps talking about these plastic decks. She likes them cause of the low maintenance, no treating, just wash and go.

Plastic decks!?!?!?! What the??? This world will come to an end if other women find out about these plastic decks! IMO, if you aren't sportin' serious wood, than you really don't have a deck.

OH CRAP, the deck doc just left and she didn't have good news. Looks like I didn't have it treated and them stinking bugs have been eating away at my deck.  You know I was wondering why it sagged in the middle when all the ladies were sitting on it on poker night. Oh well, Doc said it needs to be ripped off and replaced with a plastic deck, she said it will withstand the test of time. Oh, and she also recommended I go with a much bigger one, you know, to be the envy of all your hunting buddies. |

Don't they say if your deck is still up after so long that you should see a doctor? Yes in fact they do. However, unlike priapism which is a problem only after 4 or more hours, when related to ' decks' it becomes a problem only after 4 decades. Or, 'deck aides' . . . . It should be heavily sagging by that time.  |

If your wife doesn't like your new deck, she can come over and check out my "new" deck! I just had it fixed a few weeks ago and have been looking for someone to try it out. It is finally ready to be used, so she can come over, have a seat, and see if it fits her needs. However, 911, be prepared to have yours fixed like mine because she is going to like it! Completely maintenance free!!!! No sealant required anymore for my deck! And its not plastic.........just regular old wood! |

Good call Art...... So far, only John, Jon, & myself have had the testicular fortitude to show our decks on here, so all you guys braggin about your decks have ZERO until you show 'em! (Greyhound, no peeking!!!)
