It over, for another year. 400 plus kids spent a day in Cedar Swamp. Angola HS's FFA club did a great job of planning and teaching two areas. the wetland was alive with birds, crawdads, leeches, and kids- kids - kids.
We built wood duck Boxes, learned about waterfowl from the Indiana Biologist(he's a good guy- wants us to shoot geese next Feb, has to be approved by the flyway council). He's asking for a FEb season with a 5 a day limit. He'll take whatever is given so HUNTERS can help the situation.
Kids also planted a few hundred trees, wrote about water, and looked at macro invertibrates after they caught them.

The Christel DeHaan foundation donated 10 grand to the eevent. Every kid that wants a greenwing membership gets one for free.
