We are finally getting alot of the details ironed out. I posted up several months ago about the interest in having a seminar, well we've got it planned! We are looking at the middle of Dec., date to actually be set here in the near future. We've got a big weekend in mind, Scott Threinen will be coming down for the seminar, it will be all inclusive, no topic left untouched. This is your opportunity to really pick the brain of one of the most knowledgable and talented hunters and callers in the world. We are going to cover hunting tactics for the 1st hour or so, then we will have a break to eat and hang out, hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and pop will be included in the seminar, and the second half of the seminar we will cover calling tactics and instruction. Scott is going to give a copy of his Bad Grammar instructional CD to each participant, we want to limit the number of participants so we can count how many are attending, we will be charging $25.00 per participant, and it will be limited to the 1st 30 guys who sign up and pay. Included in this $25.00 you will receive a copy of Bad Grammar instructional CD (which costs $20.00 anyway), you will get a meal of hotdogs or hamburgers, chips, and pop, and most importantly to all you hardcore serious waterfowlers, you will get 2-3 hours of in depth teaching and training from a world class teacher on goose hunting and calling, and have the opportunity to have all your questions answered. We really want this to be a real opportunity to all. We will also be having a raffle for a new Shawn Stahl signature series goose, and I will have it personally signed (engraved) by Shawn. We will sell the raffle tickets for $5.00 each, with a minimum of 20 tickets sold, so potentially a 1 in 20 chance of winning. This event is going to be held in northern Indiana, near Mishawaka. This seminar will be held Sat. afternoon. In conjunction with this seminar, we are also going to holding 2 seperate celebrity hunts with Scott, one on Sat. morning and one on Sun. morning. River City Outfitters, www.rivercityoutfitter.com, will be hosting this hunt, with fields specifically scouted out and held in reserve for this hunt, so no hunting pressure on these fields prior to the hunts. This is a real opportunity for someone to spend real time in the field with a world class caller and hunter, and an opportunity to learn first hand in the field. These hunts will be reserved to the first 4 paying participants per hunt, these hunts will also be professionally filmed, so this is an opportunity for you to star in a hunting video!
The cost is $400.00 per participant, all gear (except your own gun) is taken care of, this is a fully guided hunt complete with your birds cleaned.
