This is my 7th year of deer hunting. I have killed 8 deer so far. Four does and four bucks. 2 with a bow (one doe/one buck) and 6 with shot gun. I am still looking forward to my first muzzleloader deer. Last year was my first year hunting with a muzzleloader.

I'm assuming that the choice of 50 should be "25 - 50". I've taken somewhere between 30 and 40 deer in 23 years of hunting, so I voted that option.

All my years i lived in PA we were only allow one per year. That was no matter what weapon you used or season you hunted, one deer. I moved to IN in 84 and many years have take four a year. Haven't killed 100 (yet) but getting real close to it.

This is a mind numbing one. I started counting in my head from the first deer harvest, then went to look at racks in the barn, on the wall and then started thinking of does harvested and gave up! I would have to say between 75-100 in 25 years of hunting.

Something like 46-48 since 1992.
I have each one charted with descriptions and details and several are photoed but I haven't looked at the records since last January. Almost time to update it again... kind of a new years tradition for me.

6 years deer hunting...2 years with gun and the last 4 bow only.
7 deer
1 17" 10 point (first deer killed) 1 piebald 8 point (first bowkill) 1 spike (bow) 2 does (bowkills) 2 bb (bowkills)
I sure wish I hadn't waited until age 26 to start deer hunting.

I couldnt begin to count, altho I used to. I try and fill the freezers up with venison for my family first and foremost. We eat probably 5-7 deer every year. I hold out for the mature buck as long as possible, and at times eat the tag. Its not very often that I dont harvest the big boy on the prop I lease tho....long as I get him before my buddys do. My kids think beef tastes funny.....

35 years deer hunting and tagged # 132 this season and have several tags left to fill . Will be out again this weekend with Muzzleloader. I hunt multiple states and feed a lot of people and have a great time doing it. I guess when I get to the point that I no longer get that adrenaline rush from harvesting a whitetail and no longer enjoy the outdoors I will hang up my bow and guns.

I have killed 7 deer in 13 seasons. If it were true that you learn more from your failures than your successes, then I should have been an expert after my first 5 years of hunting, lol.
3 does, 3 button bucks, and 1 buck

Do you really see much difference in me and the fellas that bally-hoo how GREAT the OBR is when someone shows a pic of a good deer they have taken POST OBR?
Come on.............
The news on the Morgantown buck hits the internet and whats the first comment....lol lol
Oh! It's the OBR, it's working!
RMC makes a post about taking decent deer prior to the OBR....Whats the explanation?
