Art, John, Travis, etc., I got out today for the first time, what a terrific day! I'm getting ready, whenever you guys are ready! I shot a 2 over for 9 holes at Legends of Indiana in Franklin. Had 3 really good looks at birdie (6 feet or less), and just couldn't convert! Anyway, anytime you want to play, let's put something together. You too Stillwater!

Nope not me on a golf course unless I'm allowed to goose hunt. I'm not scared of the wife but I I'm as to where I'd be permanently wearing the clubs if I told her I'm taking up that sport. Heck I'd probably be moving into the dog house with John and Donnie.

When golf involves one person popping the old balls up into the air, so that I might attempt to blast them as they pause before coming back down, let me know. Now THAT might be fun! And please note that while those doing the 'popping' would still be free to drink, those of us with the guns would not.

That is my style of golfing I'm too much of a cheapazz to play, besides I can think of plenty other things to do then pay to chase little white balls around a pasture.

I played today over at the course I work at and played pretty poorly. Shot 73 last week and shot 80 today. I'll probably be playing all week since we have access to Woodstock CC and other courses via Marian. I'm definitely ready for the HH outing but if Travis brings that weather we had during the last one, I will probably blow away!

I used to play a lot but don't play much anymore. My father in law likes to play when he comes down from Canada and is real competitive. We have a Christmas ornament that the "family champion" gets each year. This past weekend we played down in Evansville and the two time defending Evansville ladies city champ joined us on the first tee. I started great with a 38 on the front but ended up with an 82. He tied with the 25 year old girl with an 85 and she even played the back tees with us. I was teasing him all weekend about not being able to beat that girl.
