Sept. 1 can come tomorrow as far as I'm concerned. I'm ready. I watched hundreds of geese dump onto the ice by my house just last night. Autoloaders ... way to high tech for my blood. I'll stick with slamming them home with the BPS.  |

I think we're ready. We've already bought 5 doz new mallards to revamp the mallards we had and I'm buying a new truck. It's a shame that golf season still has to come and go before I put the hurt on some ducks again.

If I can wean myself off the trachea, I plan to build a pit blind. I'm building it out of marine plywood and plan to fibre-glass it. The pit will only be buried half way and I'll push dirt around the rest.
I also plan to try Poco Barley on 1 of my WRP farms this year. I'll drill in strips then mow the weeds between. Its a 60 day crop and 16" tall.
Besides that I have Herters 72's to burlap and paint.
