Finally saw what the Wabash could offer as far as migrating birds! Wave after wave of geese all day long, drove to Terre Haute and they were scattered in fields and in the sky everywhere. If it was that way during the season I would have been motivated to find a place to hunt over here!!!

How's the Wabash doing as far as ice goes? The White is 98% froze over around Noblesville.....a few small pockets of open water near ripples, but all the deeper pools are slammed full of ice-flow.

Gooseman, I believe you. As the saying goes location, location, location. I just didn't do much scouting this year over here, and have not been on the river at all. I am just used to seeing geese when doing normal driving.
BSU, the first snow and cold spell it was 2/3 ice jammed but still had a good flow. Looking out the window right now and it is flowing wide open.

Geese are flying thick here today. We should still be hunting them!
