I have had the first farmer at the door last night saying that his sheep are lambing and he has lost two to a fox.
So here we go again chasing mutton eating foxes, the first job is going to check the 22 hornet is on zero, i like the hornet with 35gr v max ammo, it gets the job done and if the little bullet does exit the target it is about spent, you cannot rely on that though but it is a better bet than using the 308 in a field full of sheep and taking half his flock out as well as the fox.
I don't think i would be very popular and would be off there at a rate of knots.
I could actually do without these jobs as i am right at the start of the roe buck cull but being a civil servant and a bordering.
neighbour i have to show face and willing.
So you know where to find me Saturday and Sunday evenings , in the local lambing field chasing a mutton eater.
