You know this guy? I seen you are on his prostaff. This was a few years ago when Vaca was still w/him. After we both hunted all day he was still willing to stay up half the night just to talk about watefowling, calls, and all the other stuff waterfowlers like to talk about. I ran in to him a few more times since then and he is always just as down to earth as any other waterfowler.

Tim, Yeah, he's a great guy to work for! Like you said, down to earth and great character! It's been a privilege to get to know him and represent his company. Great calls also, I especially love the new goose calls, the Shawn Stahl signature calls, SS-2, and SS-1. So where you from? Here's a pic of the calls by the way.

I have yet to try Stahl's calls. I was wanting to try them at the IWA but the new date for it messes w/my snow goose hunting. Did he decide to use the light gray guts or go w/something different? Last time I talked to him he said he liked them. I like them to after I modify them. I'm from Lebanon. We chatted before about setting up your trailer.

Tim, I thought you seemed familiar, how did you end up doing this season? Yeah, I know what you mean, I modify the gray guts also, cut off the tabs so I can tune them. The new SS calls have different guts in them, alot better. I really love the SS calls, alot different from the Hammers, the SS-1 is my favorite, it's a short barrel, very responsive and quick. If you make it to the Deer and Turkey Expo at the Fair grounds Feb. 16-18, I'll have some to sell, come and check them out.

I just asked on another post if you would have them w/you there. Looking forward to seeing you there.
