We're slightly flooded down in posey and Vand. counties haven't seen much here. They're fun to watch when not preassured.

Lot around up in central IN too. Just on retention ponds on the way home from work I saw shovelers, buffle heads, gadwalls, pintails, mallards, and a ringneck.

When you come accrosed a field like that it's always fun to think about where I'd set up wind direction setting sun ect... but as you all know if you or I were sitting on that flooded field there wouldn't be any bird sitting on it except for the ones in the bag

Whatever is in the top picture I have been seeing a lot of those in the Marsh part of the Goose Pond lately. -That's a shoveler, and Goose Pond always has an A**Load of them around. You go to GP, you may as well mark a shoveler or two on your card before you even hit the water. When you come accrosed a field like that it's always fun to think about where I'd set up wind direction setting sun ect... but as you all know if you or I were sitting on that flooded field there wouldn't be any bird sitting on it except for the ones in the bag - That's the truth. They wouldn't be there if I had decoys and a layout blind set up. -There was a drake and hen pintail that was hangin' with the white duck. I must have got too close for comfort because they booked it it as soon as I got the camera up.

We've been seeing a lot of ducks around here in Barth / Jennings / Jackson counties. Call me crazy but I am almost certain I've seen Canvasbacks...has anyone else seen one in central IN before?
