Rural King in Martinsville now has a gun counter and is selling guns. Started Tuesday, I think the guy said.
I get down there about once a week and didn't see any clue that it was coming until I was in there night before last for a plumbing part and walked over to check whether they might have gotten in some .22 ammo. They hadn't, and aren't expecting to for a good while yet. Guess I better not practice much between now and squirrel season or until supplies improve. Down to about 150 rounds and I'm not going to go to a gun show and pay 5X normal price.

Jasper Rural King is "selling" guns, I guess you could call it that. This is my personal experience. I asked to see a long gun off the rack: 1. You must surrender your drivers license to "hold" the gun. 2. The gun has a trigger lock on it. 3. I was told I could not "handle" the gun.
I was told that their insurance carrier required these steps. I won't be buying any guns at Rural King.

I was in the Vincennes Rural King over the weekend and they have a gun counter now as well. They changed the layout of the store as well. The sporting goods moved from the back right corner to the back left corner.

as of last week columbus store has fireams in stock. Prices seem to be about 5%-10% higher than what you can find other places. mainly paid attention to the handguns, but they had some rugers, glocks, high points, and bersas

Surprisingly Rural King here in Columbus does have a few AR's and some decent handguns. But like Kirch86 said they're a little high. I'm sure they're trying to take advantage of the market ...but they're a few months late. Only one I noticed below normal prices was the Beretta Nano.
