Went on my last hunt of the year today. The five of us included Shoota410 (art), Duff, Kyle E, and Mullis 56 Saw a bunch of geese all day long We ended up two short of our limit. These birds were well trained and very hard to get to come into our set up. Of course we had to start the morning off with some Donuts and Chocolate milk courtesy of yours truly due to a lost bet. Art, Kyle, Duff The final tally And finally Art does it again another Band and Donnie with his first band also (on his first Indiana hunt) Congrats Guys it was a fun day and a very enjoyable season.

Art, John, Kyle and Ryan - Thanks for a GREAT DAY! Unfortunatley I should have left earlier as my wife is upset as I said I'd hunt the mornings this weekend, and she is steaming . So, I'm not going in the morning , but out of respect of her that is the RIGHT THING TO DO. But I'm not too happy about it, but again I hunted nearly every weekend plus 2 weeks in Oct, Nov and Dec. Still didn't put a tag on a regular buck. We should have gotten 2 more birds, as a large flock flew over as we were packing decoys, and one of them had an orange neck band!!! Kyle/John - you should have stayed so you could have come home to a hornets nest like me..... BTW - I'M EXTREMELY LUCKY TO KILL MY 3rd GOOSE EVER AND IT TO HAVE A BAND! Art - I left you a v/m earlier, and I will hook up with you next week for: 1. Payment to farmer 2. Payment to you for gas 3. Get Benelli case 4. Get BAND! Also, I'm in San Diego, starting Monday, so maybe Friday? Talk to you later on. Thanks, again for a great time, and maybe we can do it again? Take Care, and GOOD LUCK in the morning you'll have the weather and god knows the birds.

Shoot I got home about 8:30 with a 18 pack of Miller Light, the wife is happy, and she was suprised I didn't stay for tomorrow. You boys need to work on your ladies a little more..
Had a great day hunting with some of the good old boys, no one took me too serious, a few bands, and lots of harassment.
Good hunting with 911(the professional lounger/flagger), Kyle (the sky blaster), and Donnie(the lucky SOB), and of course the old man Art

Yes Duff same here except mine had a case of beer, opened one for me then took the truck to the car wash. She said I can't go tomorrow with a truck looking like that.
Donnie/John....If you guys can't hunt in the morning can you come out for an evening hunt? ;D Oh by the way Gander Mtn has their training collars on sale. ;D Looks like it's just Kyle and I in the morning.

Judging from the group pics, you all do look like a haggard bunch of waterfowlers....probably best that the season is over, some of you guys look like you need a long nap! I'm sure that getting to the field at 4am had something to do with it! A few observations from the photos.... First, you all should have taken Donnie's shirt tail for getting his first band. I know that's what they do to newbie pilots when they solo, so isn't there some sort of tradition for getting your first band? If not....than we at Hunting-Indiana need to start one! Next......for God's sake Donnie....it's daylight, take off the "cat-eyes" attached to your cap man! Kudos to John for pulling through with the donuts and milk, but John......only half a gallon? What's up with THAT? Where's John in the pics? John, I thought I taught you the fine art of balancing the digital on the back of a decoy with the timer so everyone gets into the group photo!?!?! In all seriousness......oh, wait......I was being serious...... Anyway, looks like another great day afield. I was there in spirit even though I was busy keeping the One-Three as Central Indiana's News Leader. You guys are a fun bunch and hooking up with ya'll this season has given me the most memorable waterfowl season I've ever had. Just a heck of a time with some great friends........ Anyone seen the early season opening day dates?

BSU, that thing on Donnie's cap was new invention of Kyle's, since he didn't have a bill that would work with it he let donnie use it. I detected bands, seems it might have worked. How many do you want to buy?
