I should have taken a picture but I assumed the Forester that owned the property would have known what they were but he did not.
They were about 3 feet long and only about 6 inches in diameter. They were made from that black corrugated drainage type pipes. They were attached to trees of the exact same diameter on the OUTSIDE of the tree. They did not have a top or a bottom to them.
I don't think it was some type of feeder because (they are illegal) but it would have only held about 6 or so pounds of feed anyways. I don't think it was a gel attractant because it did not have a top or a bottom. Any idea what these could have been?
