Glad to see you found some geese, I am still amazed at the lack of birds I've seen over here.
I haven't scouted as hard as I used to but I haven't seen nearly enough to even get excited about either. Drove by some areas around Rockville this weekend that I had picked out to scout. Not a goose in the air or a field. Did see a good number down by the power plant north of Terre Haute. Location, location, location

On the computer I was on it looked blue, but this one it indeed does look green! You must be that good!!!

Location, location, location Yeah it's been another tough year for ducks and geese especially with the river being out most of the season, it gives them soooooo much more area to hide in. Your best bet now is to find a good roost that is not huntable i.e. corporate retention ponds etc. and follow them to a feeding field and go from there. |
