Hard to gauge. Since turkeys tend to travel in large groups, when you see them, it seems like you are covered up with them. Yet, they range around from property to property, so you might see 59 one day and then go several days and not see any.

Same places; just seeing them more often. Does that mean there are more of them - maybe?

I am getting more every year. They winter across the street from my place but this past spring I would say there was 12-15. Hoping for more this year.

Hey there, I don't know much about turkey hunting but I'm going for the first time this spring. I live in Westfield, Hamilton county. I had no idea we would have turkeys here but I just saw 6 little white turkeys and one little...normal colored one?...all traveling together. It made my day. Just wondering if anyone has hunted them near this area? Or what there moving patterns are? Could they be roosting near here or are they just passing on through.
