2006 ended with a single mallard drake. After watching a waterfowl hunt on tv this morning I decided to get out for a hunt. It was 8:00 when I departed my house and I set my last decoy by 8:30. Since I hunted by myself I only needed to carry 3 dozen silo's, my blind, shooting bag and gun a couple hundred yards into the corn field. Around 9:00 I had a single goose try to sneak quietly into my spread. The Benelli smacked it's first victim of 2007. After I picked up and took a short drive I seen lots of geese where they can't be hunted. All I can do is wait for some freezing weather and snow.

Nice Art. I would have went this morning but i was still soaked from sunday evening. And the party lasted a lottle longer than i expected LOL!!!!
