Myself Bsutravis and Shootsa410 decided to end the year on a good note. The Weather was horrible or perfect, depending on which way you look at it. Saw tons of birds only managed to take 1 which was a beautiful sight as it buckled at the sound of Arts 12 guage. It was a great way to end the year and lots of fun. The set up (some of it) Sunset Rainbow after legal light (Travis the ultimate poser) The result.

What do ya mean poser??? I was uhhh, calling in some ducks that were uhhh circling over the rainbow! Had a BLAST John & Art! I'm a little hurt though that my greenhead that was knocked down but managed to evade capture got no mention from the author of the post. What's up with that? One shot and down he went........he just managed to sail a little before he hit the water. I can't think of a better way to spend NYEve than getting SOAKED in a field. The opening volley of ducks was INCREDIBLE. We all had mallards trying to get into the blinds with us, but we were waiting for a big group to lock up so we all had good shots and it just never happened. Oh well.......it was worth the wetness and chaffing to watch 200+ ducks lining up on final approach. Can't wait to do it again fellas!!!!!

Travis, I thought you left your calls in the truck? Where were they when we needed them? You must have been sucking on them because I never heard a sound out of them, did John teach you? ;D Thanks for the hunt guys, I enjoyed it and a great way to end the year.
