Turned out to be a beautiful, big male coyote in a unique red color. It was running with another one that was mostly black. This was the first harvest for my new TC Impact as well. One less Yote in Dearborn County!

That's great metamorahunter! Nothing like putting down a yote on your own property. I plan on getting after em after deer season around here in Ohio and Switz counties.

There, did it show back up? No! still no picture! Congrats on your kill, just wish I could see it. I had one scare the sheet out of me two mornings ago while I was walking in. It was just light enough to see without a light & I heard something coming at me from the right. When he seen me was about the time I seen him & by the time I got the rifle off my shoulder he was gone. He was about 5' from me when we sighted each other.

Thanks. Not sure what happened. I've done it a hundred times. Apparently, it worked for a while, then went away?
