Did you just bleach the skulls? They look awfully white compared to the ones I have.

thank you! Yes, all I did was boil the heads a couple of times in dish soap water to get all of the meat off and to get all of the oils out of the bone. I then mixed up a paste for bleaching heads that I got from cabelas. It makes a mayonaise like cream that you apply to the skull completely all over and let it sit for 24-48 hours. When I washed the bleaching off that is what it looks like. I did not paint or apply anything else to the skulls. I am a woodworker and got the plaque plans off another bowhunting forum. Very easy to change heads from plaque to plaque because the skull is just sitting on there by a wood dowel rod that protrudes up into the brain cavity hole. I probably have around 10-15 dollars in them. thanks again...hopes this helps.

Nice...did two this year....didn't know if I like them compared to my other mounts...but after completing and hanging them on them on the wall...I love them.......
