Here is 1/4 of the (roughly) 12 dozen dekes we had out.  Birds coming in and leaving after the shot   The results. 28 killed. 1 hour of shooting time. A couple guys are missing from this picture.  We could have easily sat there and shot birds all day as they just kept pouring into the fields from the refuge. We shot from a blind built in a ditch. 4 guys at a time. The rest of us covered up in the ditch and called. No birds were taken further than 15 yds. Id say it was a decent day and look forward to another tomorrow. |

Goodness Tom........look at all of ya! What, you bussin' people in from Chicago to kill birds there in Illinois? LOL.
Awesome job! Too bad your digital didn't focus on the geese in the 2nd and 3rd pics or they would have been awesome. I was talking to Josh about that same problem with the auto focus and digital cameras........cool regardless!

See......you'd be better off sending all them birds over here to Indiana and shooting them here! That way, you don't have to deal with Chicagoland at all!

Day 2
Today brought clear, sunny skies and VERY educated birds ( I guess they got shot at a lot yesterday). The only thing the differed from yesterday though was the time it took to take a group limit. Today we didnt kill out till about noon. ;D We had to work them pretty hard though to get there. Ill have to charge the battery back up on the camera to see if any pics are on there. someone else was taking the pics today.

What are those two dekes in the first picture with the heads up, right of the guys? They look like the new B.F. Bulls. If so, how do you like them? Looks like you are running a bunch of B.F. Nothing better IMO.

Yes dec. The majority of what you see in those pics are Big Foots. For the abuse they take, they sure do look nice.
