Impressive goose action last night resulted in a couple photos to make the waterfowl junkies drool. We saw easily over 200 geese last night. Had one flock of 50 or 60 swarming over us at 10 yards at one point. Needless to say, a couple did not make it out. The one in my right hand weighed in at 12.5#. My take. My buddy's take.

Nice geese. Travis and Kyle drool anyway. If its coming out of both sides of their mouths you know the field is level. ZING! ;D

Congrats DEC....I wouldn't know what it's like to kill a goose.
My previous guides 911, KyleE, and BSUtravis couldn't put Chico and I on any birds! ;D
Kidding guys....I'm still thinking about how much of a blast I had! Wish we were all closer!
Congrats again DEC...you been seeing that monster buck anymore in your front yard?

Congrats again DEC...you been seeing that monster buck anymore in your front yard? Come over here with a real guide and I'll put you on some birds. ;D Kidding. Those guys have stacked up some nice birds this year. You just were there on an off day. We all have them. Probably more off days then on days. I haven't seen my back yard buck since the Friday before gun season. Thought I was going to get a crack at him that night, but a neighbor's dog running loose botched that encounter. I did see an absolute hog of a buck on Monday evening in the next field west of where we killed those birds though. Just so happens that field is leased by my buddy in the picture and is only 1/2 mile from my primo deer grounds.

As an experienced Cyber scouter, I know that field Derrick. Anyone wanting to come along- we'll burn it out for him ASAP!!!! just kidding- nice shooting D. I'll scout a little and maybe we can get together next wee, I feel a sniffle turning into waterfowl flu, by next week.

You probably do know that field Hot Shot. But lucky for me, only two people have absolute permission to be there ... the two in the pictures. Everyone else has to use the DEC Guide Service. ;D We are high priced, but I think you know a guy that could get you a real deal. Let me know about next week or even when you are on break. Once m/l season is over I have access to over 3000 acres of corn stubble. I'm sure we can find some birds in some of that. ;D

Next time I'm at the lake we're working at, I'll try to get a pic of the resident flock... There's enough birds there that 50 of us could go and limit out, with more left in the air!! Problem is that there's no hunting on the lake... I need to find out who owns the cornfields around it though. Get some of you experienced guys to take out a rookie. Sounds like you had a good time, dec. I've been getting interested in waterfowling, much to my wife's dismay!
