Decided to play the Ace of Spades spot on Sunday for the sleep in qualities that it offers. Lots of geese moving about low, still the residenters I believe. We got chapped rear ends when they landed 500 yards away in the cornfield that didn't look like geese would want to sit on it.

We picked up, held our chins high, and went to the Marrianne travel inn for pancakes. They make marginal days afield bearable.
